| Joining Nintenzone - by Goomba Smackdown!! |
After looking around the forums, I am sure you are just itching to join! All you need to do when you are ready is to click the “Register Free” button in the top left area of Nintenzone with this guide in hand. First you are shown the forum rules. Skim over the rules, check the little box saying you read it, then click Register. Now you are given with a load of text boxes. Oh boy. The first box here requires you to put in your username; what you will be known by on Nintenzone. Tips for a good username: Capitalize the first letter in the username. This makes you look intelligent and respected... kinda. Don’t put random numbers and symbols after your username. Nintenzone is a fairly small site; chances are the username you want is available. The second box requires you put in a password for yourself. Choose something no one would ever guess, but don’t make it so complicated that you might forget it. Type that same password in again in the box beside it.*Remember- you can change your password in the future. The fourth box needs you to put in your real email address. Type that same email into the fix box. Next up, the verification code. Just type the letters and numbers you see in the image exactly how they appear into the box. If for some reason you can’t make out the letters in that particular image, just hit “Refresh Image” for a new one. In the next box, you are given a simple Nintendo question. Just type in the answer as the exact word; you don’t need to type the answer in full sentence form like you are required to do at school. Everything below the question box isn’t required for you to join, but just answer them anyway. Did anyone tell you about Nintenzone? Write their name in that box. You should know your own time zone by now, choose it from the list given. Click “Automatically Detect DST” settings. And before hitting “Complete Registration,” choose if you want to receive email from other Nintenzone members or from Pyrobyte, the site administrator. Now you are officially a member of Nintenzone! |
